Privacy

Sointi is built so there is nothing to worry about. The short version: the app collects no data, and neither do we.

The app

Sointi listens to your instrument through the microphone (or, in the plugin, your track's audio) and analyzes it entirely on your device. Audio is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. The microphone signal is processed in memory and discarded as you tune.

The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting SDKs, and no accounts. It works completely offline and never needs a network connection.

This website

sointi.com is a static site served by Cloudflare. We run no analytics on it and set no cookies. Cloudflare may keep short-lived operational logs (such as requests and IP addresses) to run its network, as described in Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

App stores

If you install Sointi from the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google may collect install and diagnostics data under their own policies. That data is theirs, not ours — we receive only the aggregate download statistics every developer gets.
